HOSPITAL SERVICES:
Coordination of Islamic Hospital care at Detroit Riverview Hospital and other hospitals in Michigan:
A Muslim Patient under our program will be provided with the following services in the hospitals that approved this program:

- Nutrition
- Privacy
- Religion

Nutrition:
-Halal Food , Medications ( Non Pork Meds, Alcohol Free Meds.)
- Entree Package ( Soap Bars, Mouth Wash, Toothpaste, Deodorants, lotions)

Privacy:
- Complete Hijab Service for Muslim Women Patients.
- Same Gender Service ( for a female Muslim Patients : Knock on the door sign and Curtain Between the mother and the baby in case of need to Neonatologist to be present)
- Privacy may also apply for the male patients.
- Post Mortem Care

Religion:
- The Daily Prayer ( salat) ( the Qiblah Direction, Ablution , Salat time table)
- Ramadan Fasting.
- Adhan and Eqama in newborn ears.
- Bathroom Manners.
- Death and Funeral Procedure.
- Medical-Ethical-Religious Issues ( Autopsy, Organ Donation, Blood transfusion…etc.)

PRISON OUTREACH:
Muslim house -residential and out-patient care for prisoners and their families, including re-entry groups

- Muslim Women's Support Group:
On Saturday from 1 to 3 at the office Shazia Haque, MA, LLPC, Clinical Therapist is available to do individual and family therapy and she is bi-lingual ( English./Urdu)
